Description

A quick and easy lasagna made with ravioli instead of traditional noodles. Ready in just 6 minutes in your crockpot.


Ingredients

  • 1 (25 oz) package frozen cheese ravioli
  • 1 (24 oz) jar marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 pound ground beef (optional)


Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet if using. Drain fat.
  2. Spread 1/2 cup marinara sauce in the bottom of the crockpot.
  3. Layer half the ravioli over the sauce.
  4. Spread half the ricotta cheese over the ravioli.
  5. Sprinkle with half the mozzarella and parmesan.
  6. Repeat layers with remaining ingredients.
  7. Cover and cook on high for 6 minutes.
  8. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For vegetarian version, omit the ground beef.
  • You can use fresh ravioli instead of frozen.
  • Adjust cooking time if your crockpot runs hot.
