A hearty meatloaf packed with bacon, mushrooms, and Swiss cheese for a rich, savory flavor.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup mushrooms, diced
- 1/2 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix ground beef, bacon, mushrooms, Swiss cheese, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place in a baking dish.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
- Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
Notes
- Use lean ground beef for less grease.
- Add extra cheese on top for a richer taste.
- Serve with mashed potatoes or roasted vegetables.
