Description
Bacon-wrapped little smokies are a delicious and easy-to-make appetizer. They combine savory bacon with juicy cocktail sausages for a crowd-pleasing snack.
Ingredients
- 1 package (14 oz) little smokies sausages
- 1 pound bacon
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Wooden toothpicks
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut bacon strips into thirds.
- Wrap each little smokie with a piece of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
- Mix brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and black pepper in a bowl.
- Roll each bacon-wrapped smokie in the seasoning mixture.
- Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until bacon is crispy.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- You can use regular or maple bacon.
- For extra crispiness, broil for 1-2 minutes at the end.
- These can be made ahead and reheated.
