Ingredients

  • 8 oz elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the macaroni according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  3. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  4. Whisk in the flour, salt, pepper, and paprika until smooth.
  5. Gradually add milk, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in the cheddar and mozzarella cheeses until melted.
  7. Combine the cheese sauce with the cooked macaroni.
  8. Transfer to a greased baking dish and bake for 25 minutes.
  9. Let cool slightly before serving.
