Description
A spicy and creamy chicken dish with a mix of textures and flavors.
Ingredients
- 500g chicken breast, sliced
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
- 1 tbsp sriracha
- 1 tsp honey
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 cups vegetable oil for frying
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 2 green onions, chopped
Instructions
- Whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and honey in a bowl. Set aside.
- Combine flour, cornstarch, salt, and pepper in another bowl.
- In a third bowl, beat egg and milk.
- Coat chicken slices in flour mixture, dip in egg wash, then coat again in flour.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry chicken until golden and crispy.
- Drain on paper towels.
- Toss fried chicken in the sauce bowl until fully coated.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- Adjust sriracha for more or less heat.
- Use a thermometer to check oil temperature for best results.
- Works well with shrimp or tofu for variations.
