Description
A hearty and flavorful casserole combining BBQ bacon cheeseburger and mac ‘n’ cheese.
Ingredients
- 8 oz elbow macaroni
- 1 lb ground beef
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Cook macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in BBQ sauce and cooked bacon. Mix well.
- In a large bowl, combine cooked macaroni, beef mixture, milk, butter, salt, and pepper.
- Transfer to a baking dish. Top with shredded cheeses.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Use your favorite BBQ sauce for best results.
- Add diced onions or jalapeños for extra flavor.
- Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
