A simple and delicious crock pot teriyaki chicken recipe that’s easy to prepare and packed with flavor.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 2 green onions, sliced
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts in the crock pot.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, garlic, and ginger.
- Pour the mixture over the chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or high for 2-3 hours.
- Remove chicken and shred it.
- Mix cornstarch and water in a small bowl, then stir into the crock pot sauce.
- Return chicken to the crock pot and cook for 15 more minutes.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.
Notes
- You can use chicken thighs for a juicier result.
- Adjust sweetness by reducing or increasing honey.
