Description

A delicious pasta salad inspired by the flavors of a Big Mac, perfect for picnics or quick meals.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups elbow macaroni, cooked and cooled
  • 1 lb ground beef, cooked and drained
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced pickles
  • 1/4 cup diced onions
  • 1/4 cup Thousand Island dressing
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Cook the macaroni according to package instructions, then drain and let cool.
  2. Brown the ground beef in a pan, drain excess fat, and let cool.
  3. In a large bowl, mix the cooked macaroni, ground beef, cheese, pickles, and onions.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together Thousand Island dressing, mayonnaise, mustard, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  5. Pour the dressing over the pasta mixture and stir until well combined.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, use ground turkey instead of beef.
  • Add chopped lettuce for extra crunch.
