Ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 large onion, thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried oregano
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add sliced onions and cook until caramelized, about 15 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix ground turkey, egg, breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and oregano.
- Add half of the caramelized onions to the turkey mixture and mix well.
- Shape into 1-inch meatballs.
- Cook meatballs in the same pan over medium heat until browned and cooked through, about 10 minutes.
- Top with remaining caramelized onions before serving.
