Ingredients

- 2 cups water or milk
- 1 tbsp molasses
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp cloves
- 1 tbsp maple syrup (optional)
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Combine oats, water or milk, molasses, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt in a pot.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low.
- Simmer for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat and let sit for 2 minutes.
- Drizzle with maple syrup if desired.
- Serve warm.
