A comforting dish that combines the flavors of a cheeseburger with crispy French fries.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cheddar cheese soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 bag (28 oz) frozen French fries
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Brown the ground beef and onion in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in salt, pepper, cheddar cheese soup, and milk. Mix well.
- Spread the beef mixture in a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Arrange the frozen French fries evenly on top.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the fries.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the fries are golden and the cheese is bubbly.
- Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- You can add diced tomatoes or pickles for extra flavor.
- For a crunchier top, broil for the last 2-3 minutes.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
