Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 cups potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Add chopped onion and cook until softened.
- In a separate pot, boil diced potatoes until fork-tender. Drain.
- Mix cooked beef, potatoes, milk, butter, salt, pepper, and garlic powder in a baking dish.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a dash of paprika.
- Substitute ground turkey for a leaner option.
