This easy Chicken Cordon Bleu Casserole combines tender chicken, ham, and Swiss cheese in a creamy sauce, topped with crispy breadcrumbs for a comforting dish.
Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
- 1 cup diced ham
- 1 1/2 cups shredded Swiss cheese
- 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix chicken soup, sour cream, milk, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, and black pepper.
- Layer chicken and ham in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken and ham.
- Sprinkle Swiss cheese evenly on top.
- Combine breadcrumbs with melted butter, then spread over the cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
- Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Use rotisserie chicken to save time.
- Substitute Gruyère for Swiss cheese for a richer taste.
