Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup ham, diced
- 1 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add onion and garlic, sauté until soft.
- Whisk in flour to form a roux.
- Gradually stir in chicken broth until smooth.
- Add chicken, ham, mustard, and thyme. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Stir in heavy cream and Swiss cheese until melted.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve hot.
