A comforting dish combining the flavors of chicken pot pie with pasta for a quick and easy meal.
Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 2 cups pasta, cooked
- 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp flour
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add flour and stir to make a roux.
- Slowly whisk in chicken broth and heavy cream until smooth.
- Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
- Add shredded chicken and frozen vegetables. Cook until vegetables are tender.
- Mix in cooked pasta and stir until well combined.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- Use rotisserie chicken for quicker prep.
- Add more broth if the sauce is too thick.
- Top with grated cheese if desired.
