Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced onions
  • 1/2 cup diced bell peppers
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 6 whole wheat tortillas
  • 1 tbsp olive oil


Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add onions and bell peppers, sauté until soft.
  3. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
  4. Stir in garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  5. Remove from heat and mix in shredded cheese.
  6. Place a portion of the mixture in the center of each tortilla.
  7. Fold the tortillas into chimichanga shapes.
