A festive and healthy dip featuring caramelized onions and rosemary, perfect for holiday gatherings.
Ingredients
- 2 large onions, thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup light sour cream
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 tsp honey
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add onions, salt, and pepper. Cook until caramelized (about 20 minutes).
- Stir in rosemary and cook for another 2 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Mix yogurt, sour cream, balsamic vinegar, and honey in a bowl.
- Fold in the caramelized onions.
- Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a smoother texture, blend half the onions before mixing.
- Serve with whole-grain crackers or vegetable sticks.
