A festive and healthy twist on pizza casserole with cheese tortellini, pepperoni, and holiday flavors.
Ingredients
- 1 package (9 oz) cheese tortellini
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1/2 cup diced pepperoni
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook tortellini according to package instructions. Drain.
- Mix tortellini, marinara sauce, pepperoni, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes in a bowl.
- Transfer mixture to a baking dish.
- Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until cheese melts and turns golden.
- Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Use whole wheat tortellini for extra fiber.
- Substitute turkey pepperoni for lower fat.
- Add chopped veggies like bell peppers or mushrooms for more nutrients.
