Description
A delicious and healthy stuffed bread filled with chicken, bacon, and ranch flavors, perfect for Christmas gatherings.
Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless chicken breast, cooked and shredded
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1/2 cup ranch dressing (light version preferred)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1 loaf whole wheat bread (or gluten-free if needed)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix shredded chicken, crumbled bacon, ranch dressing, mozzarella cheese, and green onions.
- Cut a slit into the bread loaf, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges. Hollow out the center slightly to make room for the filling.
- Stuff the bread with the chicken and bacon mixture.
- Brush the top of the bread with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder, dried parsley, salt, and pepper.
- Wrap the stuffed bread in foil and bake for 15-20 minutes until heated through and cheese is melted.
- Remove from oven, unwrap, and slice to serve.
Notes
- Use light ranch dressing to reduce calories.
- Replace bacon with turkey bacon for a lower-fat option.
- For gluten-free, use a gluten-free bread loaf.
