Ingredients

  • 1 large head cabbage
  • 1 lb lean ground turkey
  • 1 cup cooked brown rice
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 24 oz tomato sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice


Instructions

  1. Core cabbage and steam whole head for 10 minutes to soften leaves
  2. Mix turkey, rice, onion, garlic, egg, salt, pepper and paprika in a bowl
  3. Carefully separate cabbage leaves
  4. Place 1/4 cup filling in each leaf and roll tightly
  5. Mix tomato sauce, honey and lemon juice
  6. Layer rolls in crockpot and pour sauce over top
  7. Cook on low for 6 hours
