Description
A healthy banana bread recipe perfect for Christmas dinner, made easily in a Crock Pot.
Ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Instructions
- Grease the Crock Pot with coconut oil.
- Mix mashed bananas, honey, coconut oil, eggs, and vanilla in a bowl.
- Add flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Stir until combined.
- Fold in walnuts if using.
- Pour batter into the Crock Pot.
- Cook on high for 2 hours or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before slicing.
Notes
- Use very ripe bananas for sweetness.
- Check bread after 1.5 hours to avoid overcooking.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
