Description

A healthy banana bread recipe perfect for Christmas dinner, made easily in a Crock Pot.


Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)


Instructions

  1. Grease the Crock Pot with coconut oil.
  2. Mix mashed bananas, honey, coconut oil, eggs, and vanilla in a bowl.
  3. Add flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Stir until combined.
  4. Fold in walnuts if using.
  5. Pour batter into the Crock Pot.
  6. Cook on high for 2 hours or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let cool before slicing.
