Description

A healthy and delicious Crockpot Beef & Broccoli recipe perfect for a Christmas dinner. This dish is easy to prepare and packed with flavor.


Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs beef sirloin, sliced thin
  • 3 cups broccoli florets
  • 1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger, grated
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes.
  2. Place beef in the Crockpot and pour the sauce over it. Stir to coat.
  3. Cook on low for 4-5 hours or until beef is tender.
  4. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water. Stir into the Crockpot.
  5. Add broccoli and sesame oil. Cook for another 30 minutes.
  6. Serve hot over rice or noodles.

Notes

  • For extra spice, add more red pepper flakes.
  • You can use frozen broccoli if fresh is not available.
  • Adjust honey to taste if you prefer less sweetness.
