Ingredients
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 cup eggnog (low-fat)
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
- 1 tbsp milk (for glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a round cake pan.
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Add applesauce, maple syrup, and eggnog. Stir until dough forms.
- Roll dough into a rectangle on a floured surface.
- Sprinkle cinnamon evenly over the dough and roll it tightly.
- Cut into 1-inch slices and arrange in the pan.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden.
- Mix powdered sugar and milk for glaze. Drizzle over warm rolls.

- Use dairy-free eggnog for a vegan version.
