Description

A festive twist on classic s’mores, these Christmas healthy hot cocoa s’mores cookie bars combine the rich flavors of hot cocoa with the gooey goodness of s’mores.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 4 graham crackers, crushed


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Add honey, melted coconut oil, and vanilla extract. Stir until combined.
  4. Fold in dark chocolate chips and crushed graham crackers.
  5. Press the dough evenly into the prepared pan.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes. Remove from oven and top with mini marshmallows.
  7. Return to oven for 5 minutes until marshmallows are golden.
  8. Let cool before slicing into bars.

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
  • Use dairy-free chocolate chips for a vegan version.
