Ingredients

  • 2 cups whole wheat pasta
  • 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1/2 cup kalamata olives
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish


Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add garlic and onion, sauté until fragrant.
  3. Stir in bell pepper and cook for 2 minutes.
  4. Add diced tomatoes, olives, oregano, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
  5. Pour in pasta and enough water to cover it.
