Ingredients
- 8 oz elbow macaroni
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 cups milk
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 1/2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Cook macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Stir in flour, salt, and pepper. Cook for 1 minute.
- Gradually whisk in milk. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add cheddar and Parmesan cheese. Stir until melted.
- Combine cheese sauce with cooked macaroni.
- Serve hot.
