Description
A slow-cooked roast with rich flavors, tender meat, and minimal prep.
Ingredients
- 3-4 lb beef chuck roast
- 1 packet ranch dressing mix
- 1 packet au jus gravy mix
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick)
- 8-10 pepperoncini peppers
Instructions
- Place roast in the crock pot.
- Sprinkle ranch dressing mix and au jus gravy mix over the roast.
- Add butter and pepperoncini peppers on top.
- Cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4-5 hours.
- Shred meat before serving.
Notes
- Do not add extra liquid—the roast creates its own juices.
- Serve with mashed potatoes or crusty bread.
