Description

A hearty and comforting dish made with ground beef, tomatoes, and pasta cooked in a crockpot.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni, uncooked
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese


Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add diced onion and minced garlic. Cook for 2 minutes.
  3. Transfer the beef mixture to the crockpot.
  4. Add tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, beef broth, paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Stir well.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours.
  6. Add uncooked elbow macaroni. Stir and cook for another 30 minutes.
  7. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top before serving.

Notes

  • You can substitute ground turkey for ground beef.
  • Add extra broth if the mixture seems too dry.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
