Description
A hearty and comforting dish made with ground beef, tomatoes, and pasta cooked in a crockpot.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 cups elbow macaroni, uncooked
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Add diced onion and minced garlic. Cook for 2 minutes.
- Transfer the beef mixture to the crockpot.
- Add tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, beef broth, paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Stir well.
- Cover and cook on low for 4 hours.
- Add uncooked elbow macaroni. Stir and cook for another 30 minutes.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top before serving.
Notes
- You can substitute ground turkey for ground beef.
- Add extra broth if the mixture seems too dry.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
