Description
A hearty and comforting dish made with tender beef and noodles cooked in a crockpot.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs beef stew meat, cubed
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups beef broth
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp dried rosemary
- 12 oz egg noodles
- 2 tbsp cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
- 2 tbsp water (optional, for thickening)
Instructions
- Place beef, onion, garlic, beef broth, salt, pepper, thyme, and rosemary in the crockpot.
- Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours or on high for 4-5 hours.
- 30 minutes before serving, add egg noodles to the crockpot and stir.
- If a thicker sauce is desired, mix cornstarch with water and stir into the crockpot.
- Cover and cook for an additional 30 minutes or until noodles are tender.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- For extra flavor, sear the beef before adding it to the crockpot.
- You can use homemade or store-bought beef broth.
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
