Description
A hearty and flavorful soup inspired by traditional cabbage rolls, made easy in your crockpot.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 medium cabbage, chopped
- 1 can (28 oz) diced tomatoes
- 4 cups beef broth
- 1 cup uncooked white rice
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Brown ground beef, onion, and garlic in a skillet over medium heat.
- Drain excess fat and transfer to the crockpot.
- Add chopped cabbage, diced tomatoes, beef broth, rice, and paprika.
- Stir well, cover, and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Season with salt and pepper before serving.
Notes
- Use lean ground beef to reduce fat content.
- Add extra broth if you prefer a thinner soup.
