Description

A hearty and comforting casserole made with ham, potatoes, and cheese, cooked slowly in a crockpot for maximum flavor.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups diced ham
  • 4 cups peeled and diced potatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt


Instructions

  1. Grease the inside of your crockpot lightly.
  2. Layer half the potatoes, ham, onion, and cheese in the crockpot.
  3. Repeat with the remaining ingredients.
  4. In a bowl, mix the cream of chicken soup, milk, pepper, and salt.
  5. Pour the mixture over the layered ingredients.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  7. Stir gently before serving.

Notes

  • Use leftover ham for this recipe.
  • Add frozen peas or carrots for extra veggies.
