Description
A hearty and comforting casserole made with ham, potatoes, and cheese, cooked slowly in a crockpot for maximum flavor.
Ingredients
- 2 cups diced ham
- 4 cups peeled and diced potatoes
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Grease the inside of your crockpot lightly.
- Layer half the potatoes, ham, onion, and cheese in the crockpot.
- Repeat with the remaining ingredients.
- In a bowl, mix the cream of chicken soup, milk, pepper, and salt.
- Pour the mixture over the layered ingredients.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- Stir gently before serving.
Notes
- Use leftover ham for this recipe.
- Add frozen peas or carrots for extra veggies.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
