Description
A simple and delicious creamy chicken pasta made in the crockpot.
Ingredients
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 8 oz penne pasta
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts in the crockpot.
- Add chicken broth, heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, basil, salt, and black pepper.
- Cover and cook on low for 4 hours.
- Shred the chicken with two forks.
- Add the penne pasta and stir to combine.
- Cover and cook on high for 30 minutes or until pasta is tender.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- You can use any pasta shape you prefer.
- For extra flavor, add sautéed mushrooms or spinach.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
