Description
A creamy and flavorful mac and cheese dish with tender honey pepper chicken, cooked conveniently in a crockpot.
Ingredients
- 2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Cook macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a bowl, mix shredded chicken with honey and black pepper.
- In the crockpot, combine cooked macaroni, chicken mixture, cheddar cheese, milk, heavy cream, butter, salt, and garlic powder.
- Stir well to combine.
- Cook on low for 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- Adjust honey and pepper to taste.
- For extra creaminess, add more cheese.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
