Ingredients

  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger, grated
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, red pepper flakes, and black pepper.
  2. Place chicken thighs in the crockpot and pour the sauce over them.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
  4. Shred the chicken with two forks and mix it with the sauce.
  5. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

  • You can use chicken breasts instead of thighs for a leaner option.
