Description
Tender and flavorful pork ribs cooked to perfection in a slow cooker.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs pork ribs
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup water
Instructions
- Trim excess fat from ribs and cut into individual portions.
- Mix barbecue sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Coat ribs evenly with the sauce mixture.
- Place ribs in the slow cooker and add water to the bottom.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until tender.
- Serve hot with extra barbecue sauce if desired.
Notes
- For extra flavor, sear ribs in a pan before slow cooking.
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
