Description

A hearty and flavorful taco soup made easily in your slow cooker.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can black beans, drained
  • 1 can kidney beans, drained
  • 1 can corn, drained
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the onion, bell pepper, and garlic. Cook until softened.
  3. Transfer the mixture to the slow cooker.
  4. Add black beans, kidney beans, corn, diced tomatoes, taco seasoning, chicken broth, cumin, and chili powder.
  5. Stir well to combine.
  6. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  7. Season with salt and pepper before serving.
