Description

A hearty and indulgent sandwich featuring layers of BBQ brisket, crispy bacon, and melted cheese, grilled to perfection.


Ingredients

  • 8 slices of sourdough bread
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 lb cooked BBQ brisket, shredded
  • 8 slices of cooked bacon
  • 2 tbsp butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup BBQ sauce


Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat.
  2. Butter one side of each bread slice.
  3. On the unbuttered side of 4 slices, layer cheddar cheese, BBQ brisket, bacon, and mozzarella cheese.
  4. Spread BBQ sauce on the unbuttered side of the remaining 4 slices and place them on top, buttered side up.
  5. Grill each sandwich for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  6. Slice and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use thick-cut bacon for extra crispiness.
  • Adjust BBQ sauce quantity to taste.
  • For extra heat, add jalapeños or hot sauce.
