Description
A hearty and indulgent sandwich featuring layers of BBQ brisket, crispy bacon, and melted cheese, grilled to perfection.
Ingredients
- 8 slices of sourdough bread
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 lb cooked BBQ brisket, shredded
- 8 slices of cooked bacon
- 2 tbsp butter, softened
- 1/4 cup BBQ sauce
Instructions
- Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat.
- Butter one side of each bread slice.
- On the unbuttered side of 4 slices, layer cheddar cheese, BBQ brisket, bacon, and mozzarella cheese.
- Spread BBQ sauce on the unbuttered side of the remaining 4 slices and place them on top, buttered side up.
- Grill each sandwich for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown and cheese is melted.
- Slice and serve immediately.
Notes
- Use thick-cut bacon for extra crispiness.
- Adjust BBQ sauce quantity to taste.
- For extra heat, add jalapeños or hot sauce.
