Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 9 oz cheese tortellini
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Cook tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add butter and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and stir in parmesan cheese, basil, and oregano. Simmer for 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Add cooked tortellini to the sauce and toss to coat. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Serve immediately with extra parmesan if desired.
