A simple and delicious Chinese-inspired orange chicken dish that’s quick to make and packed with flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 green onion, sliced (for garnish)

Instructions

  2. Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
  3. Pour the orange sauce over the chicken and stir to coat. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water. Add to the pan and stir until the sauce thickens.
  5. Garnish with green onion and serve over rice.
