Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 cups diced potatoes
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp dried thyme
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat.
- Drain excess fat and transfer the beef to a crockpot.
- Add potatoes, onion, garlic, chicken broth, salt, pepper, and thyme to the crockpot.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Stir in milk and heavy cream during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
- Serve hot with fresh bread or crackers.
