Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 carrots, diced
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 large potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp butter


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add onion, carrots, and garlic. Cook until softened.
  4. Stir in tomato paste, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, peas, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Boil potatoes until tender. Drain and mash with milk and butter.
  6. Spread beef mixture in a baking dish. Top with mashed potatoes.
  7. Bake for 25 minutes or until golden.
