Description
Creamy and cheesy chicken and rice made easily in a crockpot.
Ingredients
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup uncooked white rice
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts in the crockpot.
- Add rice, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Stir gently.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or high for 2-3 hours.
- Shred the chicken with two forks.
- Stir in shredded cheese until melted and creamy.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- For extra creaminess, add 1/4 cup sour cream before serving.
- Use brown rice for a healthier option, but increase cooking time by 1 hour.
