Ingredients
- 4 medium sweet potatoes
- 1/4 cup milk (or almond milk for vegan)
- 2 tablespoons butter (or coconut oil for vegan)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Peel and cube the sweet potatoes.
- Boil them in water until soft, about 15-20 minutes.
- Drain the water and return potatoes to the pot.
- Add milk, butter, salt, and pepper.
- Mash until smooth or to your preferred consistency.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg.
- Use a hand mixer for smoother texture.
- Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
