Description
A simple and delicious shrimp scampi pasta bake that combines tender shrimp, garlic, butter, and pasta in one dish.
Ingredients
- 12 oz linguine or spaghetti
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
- Add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes until pink. Remove shrimp and set aside.
- Pour white wine and lemon juice into the skillet. Simmer for 2 minutes.
- Add cooked pasta, shrimp, red pepper flakes, and half the Parmesan cheese. Toss to combine.
- Transfer to a baking dish and sprinkle remaining Parmesan on top.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- Use fresh shrimp for the best flavor.
- Adjust red pepper flakes for more or less heat.
- Substitute white wine with chicken broth if preferred.
