Description
Juicy and flavorful Turkish chicken kebab made with simple ingredients and cooked to perfection. Serve with rice, salad, or flatbread.
Ingredients
- 500g boneless chicken breast, cubed
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, paprika, cumin, oregano, black pepper, salt, and red pepper flakes.
- Add chicken cubes and coat evenly. Cover and marinate for at least 30 minutes or up to 2 hours in the fridge.
- Thread marinated chicken onto skewers.
- Preheat grill or pan over medium-high heat. Cook skewers for 4-5 minutes per side until fully cooked.
- Rest for 2 minutes before serving.
Notes
- If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes before grilling.
- For extra flavor, add 1/2 cup plain yogurt to the marinade.
- Serve with chopped parsley and lemon wedges.
