A quick and easy version of the classic Chicken Cordon Bleu, transformed into a comforting casserole.
Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
- 1 cup diced ham
- 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
- 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tsp dried parsley
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, mix chicken, ham, Swiss cheese, cream of chicken soup, and milk.
- Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish.
- In a small bowl, combine breadcrumbs, melted butter, and parsley.
- Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture evenly over the casserole.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown.
- Let it cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Use rotisserie chicken for quicker prep.
- Substitute ham with turkey for a lighter option.
- Freeze leftovers for up to 3 months.
