Description

A simple and healthy pizza alternative using broccoli as the crust base.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup pizza sauce
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheese (for topping)
  • Optional toppings: cherry tomatoes, basil, olives


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Blend broccoli florets into fine crumbs.
  3. Mix broccoli crumbs with egg and mozzarella cheese.
  4. Press the mixture onto a lined baking sheet into a pizza shape.
  5. Bake for 20 minutes until firm.
  6. Spread pizza sauce, add cheese and toppings.
  7. Bake for another 5-7 minutes until cheese melts.
