Ingredients

  • 8 oz whole wheat pasta
  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup pine nuts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic


Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions.
  2. While pasta cooks, blend basil, parmesan, pine nuts, olive oil, and garlic in a food processor until smooth.
  3. Drain pasta and return to pot.
  4. Toss pasta with pesto sauce until evenly coated.
