Description

Make your own healthy beef jerky at home using an air fryer. This recipe is simple, requires minimal ingredients, and delivers a protein-packed snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean beef (top round or flank steak)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce (low sodium)
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp liquid smoke
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika

Instructions

  1. Slice the beef into thin strips, about 1/4 inch thick.
  2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, liquid smoke, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and smoked paprika.
  3. Add beef strips to the marinade, ensuring they are fully coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 160°F (70°C).
  5. Place marinated beef strips in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving space between them.
  6. Cook for 3-4 hours, flipping halfway through, until the jerky is dry but still slightly flexible.
  7. Let cool before storing in an airtight container.
