Crispy gluten-free fried onions made in an air fryer for a healthier alternative.
Ingredients
- 2 large onions, thinly sliced
- 1 cup gluten-free flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Toss onion slices with gluten-free flour, salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Drizzle with olive oil and mix well.
- Spread onions in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 10 minutes, shaking halfway.
- Check for crispiness and cook longer if needed.
Notes
- Use a mandoline for even slices.
- Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket.
